Who We Are
Mindful Approaches is a behavioral health program committed to supporting children, adolescents, and families through comprehensive psychological and developmental services. Our work is designed to go beyond surface-level concerns by looking more deeply at the factors that shape a person’s functioning, well-being, and day-to-day experience.
We understand that challenges rarely exist in isolation. Attention, learning, emotional regulation, behavior, and social functioning are often deeply connected. By taking a broader and more integrated view, we are able to offer care that is both clinically informed and meaningfully tailored to the individual or family in front of us.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that addresses the full scope of an individual’s needs, including cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
Through integrated assessment, therapy, and parent support, we aim to create meaningful outcomes that extend beyond the clinical setting and into daily life. Our services are intended to promote clarity, strengthen skills, and support long-term success across home, school, and community environments.
Our Approach
At Mindful Approaches, our approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and a family-centered model of care. We believe support is most effective when it is personalized, collaborative, and practical.
Individualized
Each service plan is tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and developmental profile of the individual.
Collaborative
Families are an important part of the process, and we work closely with caregivers and other systems of support when appropriate.
Practical
Recommendations are designed to be realistic, meaningful, and useful in everyday settings.
Comprehensive
We integrate assessment and intervention to support long-term growth and functioning across multiple areas of life.
Looking Beyond Behavior
Our work emphasizes understanding the whole child, not just the behaviors that may first bring a family in for support. We consider the underlying factors that may be contributing to a child or adolescent’s challenges, including attention, learning, emotional regulation, and social functioning.
This broader perspective allows us to develop recommendations that are not only accurate, but also practical and directly applicable to real-life situations. Our goal is to help families gain a deeper understanding of what is happening and feel more confident about how to move forward.

What Guides Our Work
At Mindful Approaches, we are committed to care that is both clinically rigorous and grounded in real life. We value cultural responsiveness, individualized planning, and strong collaboration with families and other support systems.
We believe recommendations should do more than identifying a concern – they should help families feel equipped with tools, understanding, and direction. Our goal is to offer support that feels sustainable, empowering, and meaningful over time.
Questions Families Often Have
At Mindful Approaches, we believe care should feel personal, supportive, and useful in real life. Our approach is grounded in evidence-based practice while staying focused on the human side of treatment: listening carefully, building trust, and creating plans that truly fit.
